I’m looking for a brush that will have an effect similar to a pencil paint, with a strong and quick pressure on the tablet would cause a splash and more the line would be long more she get soft, do a brush of this type exist?
You can make a lot of brushes in Krita if you know how to.
Do you have an example image of what you’re looking for?
Yes i know, but i’m totally new in the krita community and don’t have alot of background in digital drawing in general, i’m totally a pencil and paper guy’s ^^, so i don’t know where to start for create my own brushes ![]()

I have found this image, im gonna take the “T” for exemple of what i search, i search a brush that make the same splash effect at the right of the “T” (not in color just shape)
Not sure about the posca ones, but for pencils and stuff ig you’ll like this one
The “other pencil style” was more to talk about pencils paint of another brand than Posca, but thank you very much for the reply and the link to the brush, in addition to the time taken to answer me, some brush have options that I am looking for in the brush “Posca” so thank you very much
Oh, so literal pens, hum, ever heard of Ohuhu? I’ve heard that they’re very good
Oh, no I search a brush to get the effect of a painting pen, like posca, molotow, graster, holywhite, the type of pens use for tags on the street, but in krita, I say Posca because it’s one of the biggest brand, effect like went you check it and press it quick and hard you got a “splash” at the start of the letter.
And yes I have tried the brand Ohuhu and it’s probably the best brand in price/quality and I have tried all other big brand, and I confirm Ohuhu is very very good.
If you like @Ico-dY’s Acid Trip brush from this showcasing picture:
from this posting:
Then you should buy the ‘Krita 5 Expansion + Extra Bundles’ from Enrico. It only costs $/€8 and the brush is part of this gigantic collection, which contains over 530 brushes in total. It’s more than worth the price!
Link to the GumRoad Page, where you can buy it.

Thanks you, it’s not exactly what i search, but the acid trip brush have some of the effect i research in the brush. but i search a brush with a splash and drip effect that turn to droop of “ink” in to soft/classique brush
I just start drawing digital so i have already many free brush to try before buy a pack of brush, but i’m gonna keep the link in memory cause the pack look really really good for 8€, so thanks you
See through that linked topic, there are more of these example pictures, and with some of the watercolor drip brushes you should be able to achieve the rest of the wanted effect. At least I guess so.

My initial thought would be using an animated brush tip, that utilizes Pen Pressure to move throughout the images within the brush tip. The higher layers containing a variety of ink splashes, so when you press down the pen splatters. I’d have to mess around a bit to see how that’d work out.
I came into this thread thinking you misspelled Picasso, but I learned something new about traditional art. Thanks OP. ![]()
