I want to reset my krita

I want to reset my krita,I was learning to use Krita when I ended up changing some of its settings, and I couldn’t get it back to normal. Now I want to know how to reset Krita to make it return to its default state. I’ve seen several methods, but I haven’t been successful. I’m using Windows 11.

There’s only one method of getting krita back to the default (as first installed and used) state and that’s to Quit krita, delete the configuration files and the resources folder.

Did you have difficulty finding the configuration files and the resources folder?

Did you do a ‘normal’ installation on a ‘normal’ Windows 11 PC?

Where did you get krita from and how did you install it?

Deleting them depends on finding them and that depends on where they are.
Where they are depends on where you got krita from.
The standard installation from the krita website ( Krita Desktop | Krita ) stores them in a different place from the Windows Store installation.

That is why I asked you this question:

So, please answer that question in order to help me (or anybody else) to help you.

That suggests that you’ve tried several methods.
Have you tried finding and deleting the configuration files?
What difficulties did you have?

If you are not familiar with using the File Manager to find files then you’ll have difficulties and any advice and instructions will need a tailored approach.
So, please answer the questions.

I installed Krita from the Krita website.

I don´t now very well how to use file maneger , because this is my first pc

I went into full autopilot mode there. Deleting configuration files and resources is something I do often so I don’t think about alternatives.

If you only want to reset the settings, you can do that from inside krita.
Run krita and do Settings → Reset All Settings:

Then quit krita and restart it.
