I'm looking to get a drawing tablet

Currently I have no PC and I’ve been using a Samsung tab A8 for Krita. I’m looking at a Wacom Movink pad and I’m wondering if this would be a good switch over from the Samsung tab A8? I realize it’s not perfect and most would suggest probably a Cintiq drawing tablet but as I said I have no PC to connect to.

Update edit: I just recently acquired the Wacom Moveink pad pro 15. Wish me luck.

Hi @Volkhvy

Brad Colbow has some excellent tablet reviews on YouTube and he usually includes Krita in the apps he uses on the tablets. His reviews are really honest.

I’m using a Samsung S10 FE and I love using Krita on it.

hola, yo tambien uso la samsung tab s10fe y ha sido perfecta para krita, en especial por que a diferencia de infinite painter, Krita , segun mi experiencia consume mucho menos bateria. Super recomendada.

Thank you @sooz

your advice is always really good for me.

I know in the past there was an issue using the animation side of Krita on Android, does it work on the Tab S10 fe?

I haven’t tried animation but is the issue that FFmpeg doesn’t work on Android, therefore you can’t render the animation?

I just recently learned how to use VN video editor on Android and can tell you it works well as a solution for rendering timelapse snapshots into MP4 videos.

If that’s not the issue you meant, then I probably don’t know anything about it.

Edit: I bought the 12 GB RAM model - I don’t know how well video editing/rendering works on the 8 GB model.
