I believe this is in the wrong category. You should post this in either finished artwork of wip.

Practice, practice, practice is the only way that is known to help here.
A few gifted people have to do less of it, but there is no shortcut, no rat run. Also, cheating won’t help you in getting better, it only helps in getting caught cheating at the moment one wants to see you painting live, even in time-lapse recordings it would be hard to cheat.

Another important thing is awareness, you must be aware of the things you do, like with this posting, where you have chosen the wrong category in our forum.
If you want feedback and tips for your artworks, then post your pictures in one of our artwork categories and tag it with critique wanted and describe in short what exactly you want to know where you want to improve.

I think you have the makings of a real good start. I agree with @Michelist practice is key.

While the advice “Just practice a lot” is tecnically true, It’s a bit of a hand wavy answer that has a lot more to it, if one wishes to practice, you must know how to.

here’s what I’ve been doing, and you should try it out too:

Do small sporadic sketches for around 15-20 minutes (ideally) every day, you’ll notice an improvement if you work on something specific in mind, like wanting to get better at faces, or structure, or anatomy, etc etc…

It’s really not much of a commitment to make, and I think as you go onwards in your journey you’ll notice that you’ll start spending more and more time drawing without realizing, it’s almost like a trance of some kind.

Always remember that reference images are your friends, and they are probably the most crucial part of development for really anybody, it helps you get a style, get something to strive for, the benefits are too big to go without.

Here’s a secret pro tip btw: if you wish to understand how things are put together in art better, you can take a reference image you like, and try to draw in simple shapes over the piece to find what basic components make up what part of the artwork. It’s like tracing, but more educational.

You have made a great start. You obviously have some understanding of proportion and colour. There are many ways to improve your skills but they all revolve around three things: Looking at how other artists work, observation (and studying reference photos) and practice. Good luck and keep posting here. Doing some of our challenges is good because it forces you to think beyond your usual subject matter and to use your imagination more. Even if you don’t feel confident to enter the challenges, give them a go privately and see how you start to progress.

I think you have a good starting point.
As others have told you there are no secrets.
Just a lot of practice and study.
The more you practice, the more you will improve.
If I can give you some advice, which many do, don’t just fixate on a certain type of design.
Try to vary.
Make portraits, human bodies, landscapes, elements of nature, animals etc etc.
Learning to draw will also be more pleasant since you will be able to explore the various types.
And little by little you will be able to draw anything.
