Offset Image has only x and y boxes that need to be typed in. Press and move the mouse to change the values as a slider like it is done with opacity would be a lot better. There is also no preview so the user has to apply and then redo the offset until it is how the user wants the picture to be.
A simple preview would save a lot of time. Offset Image wraps the picture around which is really useful for repeating patterns, the transform tools do not do this.
Not sure if the ui-ux tag is correct I couldn’t find any tag that fit.
I think I would rather have transform tool to be extended to have wrap around mode options except for Mesh and Warp. A lot more flexible as well. But, why not both?

Wrap around mode for transform would be nice too. But yea both is better XD

You request is good and makes sense considering when creating patterns we often would want to adjust the values more fluidly.
I think there can be also an additional functionality in this, the ability to move the contents of the document by mouse/pen while the dialog is open and the values would reflect the move co-ordinates made live.
