Images copied from other applications cannot be pasted directly into Krita

Hi!
After copying images to the clipboard in other applications, such as browsers, it is impossible to paste them into krita through shortcut keys or Samsung screen panel. I hope it can be optimized.
thank you !

This is unfortunately an issue caused by Googles paranoia about the users of their “beloved child” Android, because of this paranoia apps can not hand over pictures from app to app, and other crazy things. This is an issue not only Krita faces, as far as I know.
So, the same problem occurs with fonts, a font installed in app A won’t be accessible in app B. I don’t have an Android Device anymore, so I don’t know if you can do these things with a rooted device, but in my eyes it would be a bad idea to create a security risk to achieve comfort. It quickly can be a very dangerous comfort.

Some applications can be done, such as CSP and Microsoft Office. I don’t know if Krita can imitate it. In addition, it is true that most applications can’t do it.

I would love to know how much Celsys and Microsoft paid Google to get access to this feature.

This may require me to take a look, last I remember it was one of the GBoard features so we had to implement it in accordance with that. But I’ve heard android has improved compatibility of images in clipboard, so it may be possible after all :))
