I already installed and uninstalled the program 3 times in versions 32 and 64 and I get a warning that says "The program can’t start because api-ms-win-crt-convert-ll1-q-o.dll is missing from your computer.
Try reinstalling the program to correct the problem.
Hi @Mack - Which operating system (Windows 10, Android, Linux, etc.) and where are you getting the Krita file from?
Hello @Mack, and welcome to the forum!
@sooz: It is Windows.
@Mack, you have issues with the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 (or 2022), it may be corrupted or wasn’t installed so far, you can download this file and install it to your computer via the following direct-link:
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
or, if you don’t trust me, you can go to the following Microsoft site and download it from there:
You’ll find it in the small table under the headline “Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022” in the third row behind “X64”. It may be needed to reboot your computer after the installation of this software-package, but usually you’ll be notified about this circumstance from the software at the end of the installation-process.
Please close all other programs before you install this package.
BTW, this is not a Krita issue, but an issue with a missing or corrupted Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 20xx.
