Introduce yourself! 🎙️

Hello, welcome. Don’t bother trying to understand Krita. Just draw for at least a couple of hours a day and after a couple of weeks, you won’t even notice how you’ve already understood and learned everything. Happy New Year from Russia :handshake: :christmas_tree:

Привет, добро пожаловать. Не ломайте голову стараясь понять Krita. Просто рисуйте в день хотя бы пару часов и через пару недель, даже не заметите как уже всё поняли и научились. С новым годом из России.

Hi my name is Pearl

I have been on krita for a little while now but don’t think I have introduced myself.

I started drawing when I was eight, art has always been an escape for me and a way to cope, with life, a kind of therapy, something I can control when the the world around is chaos. I have always loved learning new things and trying different mediums which is why I am here. I work in insurance during the day and am often doing other hobbies crotchet, hiking, poetry and anything creative, I love to try new things when I get the chance, but nothing beats that feeling when inspired and in flow state in front of a canvas and the world goes quiet.

Hello. anyone know any art group chats for studying together, sharing artworks or talking about art in general and industry? that is also not on discord. just a healthy community chat.

You should join local groups. Go to gallery, meet artists, participate in shows etc. That’s more productive.

I second cowc2. Krita-artists is a great enough “group chat” honestly.

But if you really want something more interactive, then you can’t beat a local group within your town/city. Meeting in person is also much better too than just interacting online.

I agree with you two that meeting in person is a much more productive and better but I really can’t do it at the moment. So the only choice i have to connect with other artists right now is online.
