I found that krita has great potential for animation.
But krita’s lasso tool is not as flexible as PS.
krita+comfyUI+CTA5
can make an animation in real time.
Is it possible to make krita’s lasso tool like PS?
krita is used with CTA animation software. Using krita’s AI plug-in can quickly complete the image repair work. But the lasso function is really difficult to use. So every time I have to use PS to split the animation characters in advance, and then use CTA+krita real-time function. In addition, some functions of krita and CTA5 seem to conflict, and new pictures cannot be saved to CT5 animation software.
I am happy to provide the entire process of CTA 5 + KRITA animation rapid production, but the current problem is the complexity of the lasso tool.
And CTA can only open one software at a time. I need to use PS to segment the characters.
It complicates the operation. Because I want to implement all these operations in CTA5+KRITA.
You didn’t actually say what’s wrong with the lasso tool.

Krita doesn’t have an AI plugin.
If you’ve found one somewhere then it was not created by the Krita developers and will not be supported by the Krita developers or anyone in this forum.

The lasso tool is not as convenient as the lasso tool in PS. You cannot select details every time.

Can you add more details please. You can list things in detail with step by step explanation of things you wish to do with it, and things that you think lasso tool in krita needs to be better.
That doesn’t tell me much. Can you tell me what exactly in Krita’s lasso tool is inconvenient to you? Is there too many clicks somewhere? What makes it hard to use for you? Why can’t you select the details every time?

Krita can be used with AI plug-ins for animation creation, but the lasso tool is not as easy to use as PS’s lasso tool. PS can flexibly select any object. For example, if I am making a painting now, I need to select the face of a dog. PS can select flexibly, but krita cannot. Then modify the face through the LCM sampler to make a smiling expression. Then you can get an animation of a smiling expression. Regarding the movement of the hand, you also choose to specify the hand, and then set a bone for the hand, and quickly complete the animation with CTA5. I am talking about CTA5 animation production software. I think you can talk to CTA5 company. Then CTA5 and krita do not seem to be very compatible. Through the editing function of CTA5, you can easily create animations with comfyUI+krita. Of course, you know that when we use the cutout software to move objects, blank spaces will be generated. At this time, using CTA5+krita can quickly repair the missing content. Improve the efficiency of animation.
Do you need some kind of automatic selection? That is not present in Krita right now. Can you show some video of what the PS selection tool can do. It is really hard to grasp based on your broad descriptions.
The AI plugin part is irrelevant as it is not officially supported so for any support for that you would have to contact the developers of that plugin.
