Is there a way to flip one view and keep the original unchanged?

I’m coming from clip studio paint (Krita runs a bit smoother) and there’s a feature that allows you to create a new view like in krita. You can also flip one view without flipping the other. I use this so that I don’t have to repeatedly flip the canvas while I work. I’ve tried doing this in Krita and I can’t do it without flipping the other. Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible?

Hello,

You can definitely do this in Krita too. Just make sure to use your Krita in Subwindow mode and add a new view.

Subwindow:
SettingsConfigure KritaGeneralWindowMultiple Document ModeSubwindow

New View:
WindowNew ViewYour document name

Now you should have a new floating window ‘independent’ of one another. If not then click on the maximize icon of the view and you should see both windows.
You can now mirror the view (Default shortcut M) or even soft-proof (default Ctrl+Y) one document independently of one another.

Cheers.
