Is there a way to set the colors of the Wide Gamut Hue Ring in static mode in the popup palette?

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if we can set the Hue Ring in static mode in the popup palette, just as we can do in the Wide Gamut Color Selector docker i would like to keep the colors of the Hue Ring static so even if i select a desaturate color i can see the full saturated color in the Hue Ring of the popup palette. Is there a way to set that ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

The ‘static mode’ one sounds like the Wide Gamut selector that I assume you’ve chosen with the option in Settings → Configure Krita → Popup Palette.
The alternative shows the Hue Ring at full S,V values but it rotates and that rotation does bother some people.

I don’t know is there is a way to stop that one rotating, which may be the end result you are looking for.

Hey @AhabGreybeard ,

Thank you for your answer, the static mode is an option in the Wide Gamut Color Selector settings (see print screen) and with this setting, the hue ring stay always full saturated even if you select a desaturated color. (on the first print screen, black is selected on the color selector and the hue ring is full colored and not dimmed). I wanted to know if there is a way to get the same behavior with the popup palette.

Here static mode is activate :

Here static mode is disable and the hue ring is washed out.

Ah, ‘static’ refers to the behaviour of the Hue ring.
The Wide Gamut selector in the Popup Palette doesn’t have that option as far as I know.

All you could do is select the sRBG selector and tolerate the way the S,V triangle rotates.
