Isometric Grid - missing 2:1 option due to rounded angle decimals

Hello,
Im writting to request implementation of more precise angle widget for Perspective Grid.
There are two Types of isometric Grid used in games.
30° - true isometric grid
26.57° - 2:1 isometric

Currently you cannot type 26.57° into Isometric Grid, it gets rounded.

Future Idea for expanding Grid nad Guides Widget

There could be 3 subtypes of Isometric grid to choose:
True Isometric:
-angle of grid is hardcoded to 30° you can only choose width of cell height is adjusted by program.

2:1 Isometric:
-angle of grid is hardcoded to 26.57° you can only choose width of cell height is adjusted by program.

Custom angle:
-Grid setup may be separated to right and left angle containing width of a cell.

The fix for that got merged to master today, thanks to Deif Lou :slight_smile:

I believe we can use this thread to expand the wish to the advanced option suggested elsewhere, which is having predefined grids available for the user to choose from (I do suspect at some point people might want to create their own predefined angles and all that… but that’s a future :stuck_out_tongue: ).

I pulled krita-nightly-x64-5.0.0-prealpha-931348b21a.zip
It reloaded all brushes i ever overwritted - appeared as separated brushes xD But decimals didnt work.

Seem like Deif Lou did not implemented decimals

typing 26.57 turns number to 27
26,57 just shows error
I downloaded lates build from Krita_Nightly_Windows_Build [Jenkins]

that’s strange, looking git hash, it seems windows build is 24hrs late on linux appimage build…
wait for next windows build, it should be here :slight_smile:

Same problem with the 2:1 grid ::confused:

I try to configure 64:32 and nothing turn out with the correct parameters. Sizes jump less or more when I trying to adjust differently

It would be easier if we adjusted the height and width, not the angles. And skewing if we needs non-standard tile

Try get grid for it (64x32px) in Krita. Even 29 is a lot with correct angles
