My Basic-5 Size Brush comes up as “Basic-5 Size Copy.” I understand that I must have modified the original brush. How do I get the original Basic-5 Size brush with its default presets back in my Brush Presets docker?

If you have that brush only with the ending “Copy”, then you must have deleted the original Preset.
Please go into the dialog you find via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resources…’’
There do the following:
After you have set it up like this, you should be able to see the deleted “Basic-5 Size” and can undelete it with the big button on the right side. On my screenshot, it is greyed out and says “Delete Resources” but will switch to undelete if you select the resource to undelete.

In case you don’t find it there, there are other ways to get it back.
But then we need to know your operating system.
