JP Wet & Dry Brushes

Today I want to share some more brushes with you that I customized and tweaked until I got a result that I think is quite useful. The “wet” brushes are based on the color smudge engine and are evolutions of the Color Mixer brushes I shared previously. The “dry” brushes are pixel brushes without blending and contain brushes with various texture edges and roughness. I wanted to create a set that can do many things and can easily be combined. I think they could be useful for painting, drawing and illustration. Here is a stroke sheet I created:

Any feedback on these brushes is much appreciated.

EDIT: Hi everyone! I create a new set of brushes, partly new and partly further developments of these brushes here. Check them out in this thread:

woah this looks amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing <3

Thank you for creating these brushes (and earlier Mixer brushes). I was looking through a solution to the exact same problem you had last year as I was trying to easily create smudging/blending brushes in Krita and came across the thread where you asked for a solution. I am glad you found a solution and shared your brush pack here! I hope there will be a more streamlined (like a simple checkbox to turn brushes into blending or not similar to CSP) solution in the future, but these get very close!

Hi, I tried these brushes and not gonna lie i’m happy with results i get. Thank you for making theses brushes :sparkling_heart:

My questions is since i’m new water color: could you explain how each brush works like making guide ?. Like which brush you used to block and which brush you use for highlight , shadow, metal, hair or any others parts with finished touches ? I’m planning to continue make illustration using your brushes from now on.
