Good thinking!

The menu item jumps around a bit. Sometimes it sits beneath File->Export, sometimes it’s beneath File->Quit
Hi
I need to check that
Are you using English for user interface, or another langage ?
Grum999
English. I’m still on beta 1.
When it occurs, it’s at startup ?
or suddenly, the menu has moved in an opened session ?
Grum999
Not sure. I only notice it when I’m about to save, so near the end of a session. It’s happened twice, and come to think of it I think I deleted the settings in between. So some time after installing the plug-in.
Sorry for being so vague…
I can try again. Maybe this evening or during the weekend. Actually I have enough quota left that I can download a newer version of Krita.
no problem ![]()
I’ll try to check how to reproduce it..
Inserting the menu entry is normaly made after the main window is created, so at Krita’s startup
Something I never think about is when a second window is created.. need to test that ![]()
Grum999
That might be it! I’ve begun having one window on the Cintiq and one on the main monitor to see the colour difference.
Hi
I’m adding the following options for units:
Choosing px (width) or px (height) will only display one entry to define size, the other value is defined automatically.
Looking what I have coded for that, I can see that in one really specific case it can can occurs.
But I’m not able to reproduce it for now because I currently have difficulties to understand how to reproduce this specific case ![]()
I’m trying to see what I can do.
Grum999
Well, except for being a bit quirky having to go down beneath Quit to export a jpeg, it works fine so don’t worry too much about it! ![]()

hi Grum999
thanks for nice plug in i want ask some questions about it functionality:
1- when i change main plugin window placing - it not remember place of this window (and size) when i next time open plugin - is it possible to fix this somehow?
2- when i push this button -
the main windows of plug in is remain “always on top” and window with path is always behind and if we add here behavior from point N1 with windows which do NOT remember his place and size, use “this all” is not wery conwinient - or is it possible to fix this somehow?
some system info : windows 10 21H2, nvidia gpu, krita 5.1.5
3- you mention in first post that native “implementation should be available in Krita 5.1” - maybe I missed it and it already appeared in 5.1 - can you give me a hint?

Hi!
Currently on my phone at the office…
I’ll try to answer this evening
Grum999
Hi @lpslp
Thanks for feedback ![]()
Yes it’s possible to implement this
Created feature request here:
But I’m currently not in a coding phase and can’t tell when I’ll be able to do it ![]()
At least, as it’s now in tracker, your request won’t be forgotten when I’ll take a look in my todo list ![]()
I need to check on my side, I don’t have problem under Linux
I got this information from @KnowZero
I suppose it’s the “Export Advanced” but I’m not sure because it doesn’t do what the plugin does ![]()
Grum999
thanks for detailed answer!
It was decided to wait on implementing more animation features until later versions (probably to decide how to handle ffmpeg going forward), so I got distracted by other things like expanding the Python API (some in 5.1, some coming in 5.2) and making python plugins. So I never got around to finishing it and now I’m swamped with work rewriting pretty much our whole infrastructure to rust. Since I personally use image export I do plan on implementing it at one point, but it’ll have to wait until I am done with the major work project ![]()
