nice man. how do you create your signature brush?
Thanks @Joseiby_Tapia !
Are you talking about the red coloured signature at the lower right corner ?
That was created by drawing with a regular digital inking brush on a separate layer.
thank you, yes, that was it, i know that there is people that make a brush for a signature, im tired of always doing it differrent. do you know if we can import brushes from PS?
Hi @Joseiby_Tapia,as far I know ther are no direct ways available to import PS brushes inside Krita. You can use a free software called abrMate to extract the image/texture from a PS brush/bundle.
After that you can use those image/textures to create your own desired brush inside krita.
In that same way,you can use your custom image to create your own signature brush inside Krita.
There are some in depth video tutorial available in youtube ( made by Ramon Miranda ) regarding different brush making procedures inside Krita.
You can check them out.
Personally for last one and half years,I am not missing PS brushes anymore.
Becuse Krita is providing me enough unique brush bundles and more !
thank you Ari, im still learning to draw on digital medium, i have watch the tutorials made by Ramon but i dont understand much, maybe because i was just starting.
thanks a lot.
Hi @Joseiby_Tapia
Since you said you’re new to digital art I wanted to suggest staying away from Photoshop brushes until you understand Krita (and by that time you’ll probably realize you don’t need them). Attempting to make PS brushes work with Krita is going to take you down a rabbit hole that will keep you from learning cool ways to use Krita.
Hi @Joseiby_Tapia ,I can understand your current problem.
I totally agree with the initial guideline shared by @sooz.
Because PS and KRITA may look & feel similar to some extent ,but they work differently.
So rather than trying to import PS brushes inside Krita, you can try out custom krita bundles available from the resource section available within this virtual community.
All I can suggest initially have fun with these custom made bundles.
Don’t worry about learning first, just have fun through trial and error methods !
Once you start to enjoy it,learning will come automatically !
As starting point you can try out sketch, ink, crayon,RGBA bundles by Ramon, watercolour bundle by Pesi, impasto brushes by Memileo and the list will go on as you keep moving !
If you are strongly looking for brushes similar to PS inside KRITA,you can try this bundle out !
Tried it out before and it’s fantastic !
