It seems that the Kde binary factory website is down.
Are there updates about the website? Did they change the name to something else?
The Binary Factoryâs been retired. Builds are now made on GitLab. See this post on the KDE-devel mailing-list: Retirement of Binary Factory .
Not all of Kritaâs builds have been migrated yet, only Linux and Windows. However, as Kritaâs dependency builds havenât yet been migrated either, I think those GitLab CI builds are going to start failing⌠But thereâs work being done to improve the dependency build system.
For those who want the latest and greatest (5.3.0-prealpha builds) then you go to Artifacts and press the download button for the most recent build:
At the bottom of the page there are Previous/Next buttons so you can go forward/back in time, if you want to.
The Linux download gives you an appimage and its .zsync file.
The Windows download gives the portable .zip package.
I donât know where âKrita Plusâ is. Maybe I didnât look hard enough.
Youâll have trouble finding it on that page, as 5.2 isnât being updated often and that list is for all artifacts from 5.3, 5.2, and MRs. (One benefit of the migration to GitLab CI is that test builds are made for MRs.)
Here are pipeline lists by branch:
Successful 5.2 branch pipelines
Successful 5.3 branch pipelines
And here are direct downloads of the latest artifacts:
âKrita Plusâ (5.2.2+): Linux - Windows
âKrita Nextâ (5.3.0-prealpha): Linux - Windows
Note that unlike Binary-Factory, the latest successful artifact is not kept indefinitely, all artifacts are kept for 10 days.
