KDE Wayland: Cursor position

I have a weird bug using plasma + wayland + krita: the cursor seems to use the middle of the arrow instead of the top left corner, and some times for some cursors, the offset is… off?

Here’s a video: https://imgur.com/a/70buclP (can’t upload because I’m new in these forums).

Does anyone know a way to fix this?

Krita is not yet ported to wayland. And as far as I know wayland cursors has issue when using a graphic tablet. Please make a bug report

It might as well be a bug in your desktop environment

Thanks for the reply!

Thing is it happens only when using a tablet (Huion) and only in krita  that’s why I thought it might be krita related and not DE related.

Will test in windows, too

Will report to KDE, because I get different behaviour on different windows when using a stylus. Thanks!

I don’t know if this will be helpful for your scenario but there is interesting info in this post: Krita+graphic tablet on Plasma 6 (Wayland or Xorg/X11) (late 2024) - #11 by Paint4Thought

Thanks! My findings are somewhat similar.

All the Plasma 6.x distros I tried showed incorrect cursors outside of Krita and Firefox (showing crosshairs when using tablet pen)

I’ve posted on KDE Discuss about this same behavior: KDE Wayland + Stylus: wrong cursor behavior - Help - KDE Discuss
