Somehow this reminds me of Clifford the Big Red Dog- a giant animal carefully stepping around houses, watching a human it might be friends with with some intelligence, the fact that it takes place on the coast, and the sort of storybook illustration style. Except that it’s a giant wading bird, of course.

Absolutely love this! If you’re open to a very minor suggestion: the sky’s the same shade of blue throughout and it would naturally be a little darker at the horizon and lighter at the top (during daytime). Just a thought I had. otherwise it’s really really nice!

Beautiful! I love lighthouses. I’ve always romanticized them even though I’m sure they’re probably very cold and uncomfortable.
