Its the exact problem that i have, the keyboard gets unresponsive at random times and i have to restart the app, sometimes restart my chromebook. I use a chromebook, idk if that has something to do with this issue.

Which version of krita are you running and where did you get it from?
running 5.1.5. and I got it from google play store
Came here to add the same; I’m on a dev mode activated Chromebook with Krita downloaded from the play store, the keyboard commands do not respond very often. Seems like it has something to do with the window staying active. I do wanna add that I signed up for the beta tho too so maybe that, and when I had Krita installed on my Linux build on the same device the key commands worked perfectly. My device build is I believe the Samsung Chromebook 4? Version 119.0.6045.158 (Official Build) (64-bit).
