Keyboard wont popup and other issues with the new text editor

Hi, I’ve been having a really hard time with the Krita 6’s new text editor, the keyboard is not poping up no matter what I try

There are other issues that kinda overcomplicates the simple things I want to do like changing the font color, font size, and it even crashes mostly when I copy and paste layer name to another, I hope these issues gets fixed soon and I hope the android version gets more love and optimization since I’ve used this version for a year now without these new issues

Keyboard? Are you referring to the old panel that would open, where you would type inside and then save to have the text field update, or an actual virtual keyboard? With Windows OS, the old panel is no longer there, as we use the Text Properties docker to make changes to the text (there’s a button that opens this docker on the Tool Options docker, when you have the Text Tool selected).
