Konstrukto's sketchbook

Welcome to my sketchbook, most drawings you’ll find in here are photo’s of my actual sketchbook.
Although some digital sketches may make their way in here.
This includes model drawings, which includes nudes, arguably these may be classified as NSFW, be warned!
Of course these will not be in the first post…

For starters, some of my most recent sketches.
Some hatching practice in the upper corner but also some designs based on a cupboard I chanced upon during a holiday.
Interesting stuff!

Some hatching practice as well as hard shade practice based on comic book styles

Mostly practice on skulls

Exploration and measuring for a piece I did for a family member, it’s a satirical take on the Dordrecht synod of 1618-1619, containing elements of and nods to ‘where is Waldo’

ATTENTION contains NSFW nudity!

Well, here are the model drawings, containing the nudes
Some of these are actual life drawings, while most of them are based on pictures from the database of https://community2.lovelifedrawing.com/home
A highly recommended community centered around this essential basic skill, and it’s free! (mostly)

Some rough poses

Poses from a life drawing session I got to sit in on, nudes

Some drawings made for Dungeons & Dragons campaigns
The game of D&D is special to me, it has long fascinated me because of my love for fantasy and sci-fi, ultimately I took the dive.
It feeds my creativity and my creativity feeds it, creativity in my opinion is a muscle you can train.
These days I’m a dungeon master, so it also takes up quite an amount of time.
On the other hand I play a setting/world that I entirely make up.
That includes lore, maps and often also artwork.

Thought I’d restart doing this, as I love looking through other people’s sketchbooks myself!
This is all from a Talens art creation sketch book, which holds water based media surprisingly well
As a result this sketchbook is a mix of ink drawings and gouache paintings
