Krita 4.4 beta 1 is mssing some translations (in a weird way)

Krita 4.4 beta 1 sees significant improvement in the localized version thanks to it now correctly packages the right po/mo files. But for some reason, I’ve discovered 3 curiously missing translations:

  1. Menu > File > New…
  2. Menu > Image > Properties…
  3. Layer Docker > Right-click > Properties
These strings are all translated. They are not even considered as duplicates between Stable/Trunk because I pushed them separately as different commits to Stable/Trunk. I have no clue what caused the missing translations, and they are kinda important items, so any help will be appreciated.

Also, the translations for SeExpr (as a KDE product) is not included in the beta build, Krita’s SeExpr dialogue is therefore English only. Was the binaries built without using the locales from other KDE components that Krita depends on? Was this the reason why some strings (OK/Cancel/Print…) have been missing all these years? Can there be anything done to improve this problem? Thank you.

I think the seexpr stuff isn’t fully ready yet, @amyspark was still trying to figure out a release.

I have no idea what is going on with those strings though, very curious.

@tysontan - SeExpr is already packed with some translations. I cutted an alpha release just to test if I could make one with boud’s script.

As for the missing strings, it’s in all likelihood because Chinese was finished after I made the release.

If @halla wants, I can cut another alpha, just in case.
