KRITA 5.1.5 - Protect Your Artwork: Adding Watermarks Tutorial in Krita using G'MIC!

Sous-titre en FRANCAIS!
CC in English or in French.

Hello,
It is important to protect your art when sharing it online. You can add a layer of protection by using watermarks. They are easy to use.
In Krita, we do so using the filter G’mic.
Also, at the end of the tutorial, I remind you how you should always save your work.
Just a friendly reminder!:grin: … Nothing more. Have a great week creating art! :two_hearts:

PS. My little chibi fantasy creature is protecting a dragon egg. Just in case you were wondering. :dragon:

I you are interested in hidden watermarks, an option is as discussed here - Flickr: Discussing Fourier watermark: is it enough? in G'MIC using a different G’MIC filter. As the article says, it isn’t robust as just saving a jpeg of an original png file, re-scaling, etc will loose it. But as it is hidden, no one is going to try to remove something they don’t know is there.

It is also discussed in this forum here - Add invisible watermark to pictures
