Krita 5.3.0 Flatpak on KDE Linux is laggy

Hey! First time here, needing to report a bug, probably

So after updating to 5.3.0, Krita’s been acting pretty bad. Takes a solid minute to open a file, once it’s open it takes a solid minute to be able to do anything with it.
Once that’s done, things seem to work okay as far as I’m able to draw on a layer, but once I reveal a layer it stops letting me do things again. When I try to close the window, it doesn’t close, and Bazzite (the OS) has to force close it.
I think it may be struggling to get the window drawn or something? Opening the window from hiding just opens a blank window while it’s in the struggle state, and maximizing from a smaller window displays a smaller display in a larger frame.
Weirdly, all of this goes away after a reboot, and it all comes back after waking the computer up from sleep.

As far as specs go, I’m running Bazzite with KDE desktop environment, on an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, using the Flatpak version of Krita.
Any help is appreciated!

 Hello @MatrixIslandCow, and welcome to the forum!

Because we had no reports on this from the AppImage, the one and only official Krita build by the Krita devs, can you please report your issue @ https:/github.com/flathub/org.kde.krita/issues?
Thank you!

By the way, we await an update to 5.3.1 in this or maybe the next week.

I posted about this a while back, but just a reminder in case other Linux users come across this thread: beware the flatpak and any other “non-official” release channel! There are some weird bugs in there. Definitely prefer the official AppImage release.
