Go to this post and download that bug fix version from there or wait a week or so for the official update:

Krita 5.3 has slow UI on Windows

I’m using windows 11 on Asus vivobook S15 and it’s lagging like crazy. I couldn’t even click on help button without it being at the verge of crashing and fans blaring Could you please check this package? If it works fine, we will make a fixup release next week. Until then you can use this package (it is almost identical to the 5.3.0, just might have a few untranslated strings.
