I’m on Windows 10 and when i use overwrite workspace, the changes are not saved. If i select another workspace and then select the overwritten one, it loads with the old setup.
I recently had a similar experience but I thought it was my own mistake and I just forgot to save it. Well it looks like it wasn’t. So I basically can confirm this.

I also already couldn’t overwrite it in Krita 4.4.x and deleted it there by hand with Krita not running to be able to recreate it afterwards. It’s interesting, it seems we are attached to “our desired name” and don’t like other “substitute names”

Note: I’m still taking all issues/complaints etc. in this thread: Resource bugs in Krita 5 and while it’s often good to have some discussion in a dedicated thread, sometimes it’s not really needed, and if it’s in one place it’s easier to manage, I think… I believe I already missed a thread or two, I’ll need to go through the latest threads to see if there is some more things.
