hey i need help in krita animation there is a animation image import but there is a problem i dont like how you have to rename every file for it to get it in the order you want if you could make it so the first picture you import goes into frame whatever the person chooses it would really help out a lot of people like for example me im making a south park animation and instead of drawing mouths i want to import them but i sometimes need to import multiple and in the order i want so please fix this

Can you give more detail about what you would like to happen.
e.g. Some sample file names and an example of how they are imported to which frames then how you would like them to be imported.

hi yes bassicaly when you import an animation image into you select a few and then you can choose what order they get out in an what frame but its fustrating fo people that use multiple images and a lot so i would like to make it so when you import all your frames there will be a list like:
1.imageidfsd
2.image44234
and then you would choose what frames you would like and it would import how the list showed
It sounds like you want to ‘drag and drop’ filenames to the frame you want them on.
I can understand why that may be useful but it would need a Feature Request topic with adequate explanation and User Interface mockups to explain what was needed.
Then it would need someone to decide to do development work on it.
You can manually drag and drop frames on the Timeline after you’ve imported them. Click on a frame, see what image is there, grab-drag it to a vacant frame. You can reorder by hand that way, on an empty section, then select and drag all the ordered frames to where you want them.

Just import some animation frames. Click on each of them to see what they look like.
Drag them to a vacant frame to place them in the order you want them in.
Select them all then drag the lot of them to where you want them to be. Job done.
