I’ve always used Krita on a Macbook Pro but recently I’ve been thinking that, if my current Macbook were to develop an unfixable problem, I wouldn’t be able to afford to replace it. Inspired by what the French government have done, I’d probably consider getting a Linux computer.
So I’m wondering if anyone knows whether my Krita files that I created on my Macbook would be compatible with Linux. Thanks for any help.
Krita (KRA) files are not platform specific. I don’t see why they wouldn’t work since the Linux, Mac and Windows versions all have the same features.
Sometimes Krita versions get new features that make it impossible to open KRA files that are made in a newer version with an older one but the other way around (old to new) always works.
