I recently come across this black and gold theme for Krita which looks like one of the themes for blender. I really liked it and found a source from David Revoy website. However, Krita 5 does not support the file format. Can anyone help me? If there is another source file, I would be grateful if you could share it
Happy New Year to you too, it’s ok so far and I hope yours is a good one
I don’t have a problem with that colour scheme on 5.0.0.
Initially, I had blue on the Opacity and Size sliders but that hangover from a previous scheme seems to happen and a restart takes care of it:
If I put the scheme file in a subfolder, as you have, I don’t see it in the list and I don’t know how you got access to it. How did you do that?
I’ll suggest that you choose another scheme, Quit, put the Dark Gold file directly in the scheme folder, restart krita, select the Dark Gold theme then Quit and restart.
If that doesn’t work then I’ve no idea what may be going wrong for you.
Note: The theme in use is stored in kritarc:
[theme]
Theme=Krita dark high contrast gold
That seems ‘normal and expected’ so I can’t think of any ‘fix’ involving that.
EDIT:ADD: Did you try to Open that file using krita? If so, don’t. Just put it in the colour-schemes folder and start/restart krita.
On my side, I opened a Merge Request to propose the improved version by @scruffydux of this Dark Gold/Orange theme. This way, maybe it will be part of the pre-installed theme on future Krita versions.
