Hi,
I already made a post on this forum a few months ago, and got great help so here I am again because the issue I had ended up not really solved.
I am posting for my girlfriend : she uses Krita a lot, and has a dual monitor setup (one HP monitor, nothing special there, and an XP Pen 13.3 Pro tablet). On her new PC, she has been having a weird bug with Krita : regularly (and it seems, randomly too), two things can happen : Krita can just flicker to a black screen for like, one frame, causing an annoying black flash AND Krita’s window can also start “wiggling”. By that I mean that the window will sometimes reduce itself from 1 line of pixel at the bottom.
She found a “fix” to those two issues it seems : disabling hardware acceleration. The problem with this is that she then gives up computing power, and she’d like to keep this enabled without having this weird bug.
Here is a link to the old post, some solution were tried with no success, and after a while of testing, the solution we thought worked ended up wrong : Krita window wiggling while drawing
She uses Krita 5.1.5 (she downgraded from 5.2.3 to see if the bug would go away : it didn’t).
Please feel free to ask for more information if needed, and thank you for reading !
