Krita stuck on "Waiting for image operation to complete"?

Waiting for Image Operation

So this is a weird one, I do a lot of art in Krita using pretty high file sizes and have had zero issue until now. Where I’m working on a 886 x 1476 size image. Now most of the layers and stuff will let me turn the visibility on and off and adjust them. My cleaned linework layer for whatever reason lags and pops up with the “Waiting for Image Operation to complete.” message with the updating bar that takes a while. Is the layer some how corrupted? I’m running a windows with a Ryzen 5 5600X Proc…
