I would like to ask all people who have an experiences with using several different drawing tablets in combination with krita- which one you would recommend to use?
I am looking only for stand-alone tablet,
Since I used huion kamvas 16 pro and I was not happy with it
drawing on that surface feels sometimes like scratching a glass. And tip is not always matching with cursor.
I am wondering… why did calibrating your huion tablet not work? I mean there can be problems with the stylus, but it is often fixed by calibration. What did huion say?
That is a very good remark. I have contacted huion with this issue and I can gladly say, that they reacted very quickly. But unfortunately issue has not got solved. Calibrating helped but after a while pen gets a mm distance from cursor. I started to get use to it. But i have a problem with lack of softness when drawing.

Hi and welcome! I got a Surface Pro 7 tablet a while back with intensions of using it for plein air painting in Krita when I travel. After using it for a while, I can definitely say I would it never get another stand alone without shortcut buttons built into the side of the tablet and a stylus that does not have to be charged. Performance wise, it ran Krita smoothly. I would love to try out a Wacom Mobilesudio. I haven’t tried XP-Pen’s new Android powered standalone yet.
With your requirements, an Android tablet (Samsung line especially) is the best. great screen, the nib is soft so it does not glide on the screen. Pure wireless, lasts long, great performance.
The only downside is krita python add ons don’t work.
