hey, does anybody have a way to get some inspiration, because i want to draw a little but i dont know what. i mostly draw cartoon style, so if you have any ideas please tell me!
My go-to painting topic is cats.
But you can also check the current challenges similar to Inktober or look out for art events like Chroma Corps (it will probably open in July/August) or Kimodameshi (the entry is closed already for this year, I think. I never participated in this one).
Or you can check the old lists of topics for challenges or events to get some ideas.
For artists without inspiration, or ideas how to get such on their own initiative …

But you can also do something new for you. Stand up, take a pen and a notebook with you (these things made out of paper), open the door, leave your house, go make a walk of about one or two miles, do look around and make notices of what you see, do some sketches. And after an hour or two you’ll have seen a lot should have made new experiences and also should have found inspirations, things you really want to draw right now. But please let your cell phone at home, your cell phone may be a bad idea since you’ll look at it instead of looking around, and you won’t get inspired by the world around you that has to offer so many interesting things you could draw or paint. May it be a tree or a dog, a playground for kids, a skater-parc or whatever else you may find interesting.
Important is to do it yourself.

Randomly generating ideas can end up creating some funny ones:
I can definitely imagine why an air elemental hiking windmills would likely feel frustration.
Thanks to the both of you. I will get started asap!
I actually do that sometimes. Its quite relaxing and fun
Welcome to the community, @Schoolkid. That was a great question. I’m going to try out some of the tips people gave you because sometimes I feel a little stumped for ideas, too.
I totally understand that feeling—sometimes even looking at creative work from others can spark a new idea.
Personally, when I feel stuck, I browse atmospheric art for a mood reset. Recently I came across WiliArt Store, and their art prints—full of dreamy landscapes and soft, evocative imagery—help me rediscover a palette or emotional tone I’d like to paint. It’s like a small visual spark that gets the creativity flowing again.
How does everyone else find that creative spark when the well runs dry?
Sometimes good ideas come from unexpected associations. A film, a book, music, a visit to a museum or a simple walk can act as a stimulus. Sometimes we feel the need to take time out to look around us and let ourselves be moved by something different from the usual routine. And we know that ideas are rooted in our emotions.
Inspiration is like a slot machine. Most of the time, you walk out empty handed. Every now and again, you hit jackpot. You can’t control when inspiration comes, just let lady luck decide and toy with things till you find something you like.
When I’m stuck, using an easy drawing ideas generator .It gives quick prompts you can adapt into your own cartoon style. I’ve found this helpful when I just want to warm up and draw something light without pressure
