Hi, I have an issue. While working with a vector layer when I opened layer styles window it will darken the canvas in Krita making it really difficult to see what are you working with. See image.

That’s an (un-)feature of Plasma desktop effects, it dims all windows that have a modal dialog open, to indicate you can’t directly interact with it right now.
Open Syste Settings, go to Workspace Behavior => Desktop Effects and disable “Dialog Parent” in the Focus section.
