This is a 3rd test from a recent commission, There is actually 2 version, the first one where I really cleaned up the sketch… but let’s just say my bad habit kicked in and I deleted the file, so I redo all of it after the actual job was completed.
The main goal for the 2nd attempt was color shifting, and basically to learn how to create the lighting well, if you saw my other test on my sketchbook thread you probably can see why this is needed. I really wish I can do the typical digital art process, sketch - Lineart - shading, but my brain just can’t handle proper sequencing since it likes to switch focus a lot.
The ref used which is a screenshot from the show which has a more simplified shading.
