Love the tiara

Thanks! that was kinda the hardest part because I didn’t want to render it too much but I didn’t want it to look like completely random brushstrokes either.

This study is an absolute masterclass in Edge Control and structure! The dramatic Chiaroscuro lighting is handled brilliantly, using defined, hard-edged Color Blocking rather than smooth gradients to sculpt the facial planes. I’m especially impressed by how you’ve allowed the Canvas Texture pattern in Krita to interact with the paint application, giving it a tactile, physical oil-painting feel.

o achieve that sculpted look on the brightly lit cheek and jawline, did you primarily use the ‘Acrylic Scraper’ style brushes with manual mixing control, or did you create custom hard-edge properties on a basic Chalk brush? I always struggle to make unblended brushwork look this deliberate without it appearing digital. Well done
