While researching something else, I stumbled across a post with links to six moodboard generators. Since the site from which these links originate is full of advertising and demands a lot of rights, I’m just posting the links to the six generators here without having tested them, hoping that the websites aren’t dead yet and are of use to someone in the forum:

Add: Since this resource cannot really be assigned to one of the given subcategories, I post it directly in the root level of the resource categories.
You have to register for a free trial, during which you can only create one board.
A board can have 20 images, each 2 megabytes or smaller.
You can download your board, and then delete it and start again, if you need to.
Update: You cannot save a board during the trial, so downloading it is the only way to do so.
The free plan allows for up to three murals.
As far as I tested, there seems to be no image limit.
A mural can either be infinite scrolling, or resized as needed.
Images can be directly imported from Unsplash, or Creative Cloud (requires CC signin)
Export options are available, .pdf and .png.
Objects need to be in a table with the grid setting, which allows for organization and easier arrangement.
The options are more tailored for collaboration, and may be overwhelming.
Although may be useful for some, just depends on your use case.

Pretty simple. Not export options, however.
Unless you can save the page as a pdf file using your browser, or take a screenshot.
You can share the moodboards, by sending the link.
The only website in the list that is broken is thematboard, which brings me to a bunch of links:
