Looking for Others Krita Brush Pressure Setting on a Samsung Tab 8

Type of device* : Samsung Galaxy Tab 8
Brand and version of the device:
System** : Android 15

Description of the issue (you can include screenshots):

I am increasingly frustrated with trying to get pressure sensitivity to wok in Krita on my Galaxy Tab 8. I thought it was working, but it is not when compared to other programs on my Galaxy.

So I was wondering if people who have it working on a Samsung could post screenshots of their brush settings.

Here is one of mine:

Thank you

I’m thinking you probably already used Krita’s tablet tester to see if Krita is receiving pressure signals and the problem you’re experiencing is you have to press too hard to see sufficient differences in your brushstrokes – so tell me if I got it wrong.

For me, adjusting the input curve in Tablet Settings gave me really nice pressure sensitivity. I didn’t have to do this for my Wacom on Windows, but for the Samsung on Android this was necessary. (I don’t like to press hard so you may not like how extreme my setting is.)

I tried your settings. Here are the results:

How about Krita’s tablet tester… Is it showing pressure percent?

For any problems with pen pressure response in krita, you should always use krita’s own tablet tester to check that the pen is actually delivering the full range of pressure signal, from 0% to 100% as you vary the pressure.

Also, in your attempts to fix the problem, have you added the Use Pen Pressure button to the Toolbar and then pressed it, like this:

A small ‘x’ on the button icon indicates that pen pressure will always be 100%, like a mouse.

The Use Pen Pressure button can be anywhere on the Toolbar depending how you placed it there.
Its exact appearance depends on your use of Themes.
