Looking to hire a Krita artist - details in post

Hello Krita Artists,

I’d like to hire an artist for a web comic I’ll be writing.
This will be a short term project for now, with hopes to have more work in the future.

Budget :
€500 - €750

Job Requirements :

1. Artist uses Krita.
2. Is familiar with manga style of comic books, as that is the style of story I’m writing.
3. Some links to a portfolio so I can see you work - Deviantart, ArtStation, Reddit, Patreon, Twitter, etc. If you’re looking for a reference for what kind of art style the comic will have, have a look at the One Piece manga or The Last Airbender comics.
4. Age rating - Shonen, aiming for 15+, although there may be darker moments further into the story. No nudity.

Job Description :
The job will be for the following - a ‘roughly’ 20 page chapter, the introductory chapter of the web comic, based on a script I have written, not coloured.

Art for the website where the comic will be hosted - header/footer of the page, designs for next page/previous page buttons, etc. These will be coloured. If you’d like to get a feel for what will be required, I’ll be using this template for the website.

Along with some social media banners/badges, coloured as well.

All social media will contain links back to the artists own profiles, if that is okay.

750 bucks is a pretty tight budget for 20 pages of artwork plus additional promotion material. For reference: I take about 200 just for a single digital painting. Not saying it’s impossible to find something in you pay range but you shouldn’t get your hopes too high in terms of quality of the work.

Hi all. I’m writing this message to let you all know that I will be taking a short break to re-evaluate my project. I’ve spoken to several people on here and elsewhere and I realise that what I’m asking for is quite a bit too much considering the payment I’m offering. I’d create a new post when I either find more funds to pay a better rate to an artist or find a way to downsize the project.
