I really love this website’s accessibility. You don’t need to sign up an account to look at all of someone’s artworks (I’m looking at you well-known established social medias websites 
). Not sure if I’m the only one who feels this, but I think creating account on a website that you don’t want to have is kinda a hassle. That’s like adding another account in a list of accounts you need to remember.
Also, I can organise my art pretty well here. I can make my posts act like folders and use comments in their own posts as sub-folders. Hyperlinks are pretty good for jumping to a comment containing art from a specific time frame or a category. People don’t need to scroll down endlessly to find something specific.
