Recently the magic wand tool has stopped working, it doesn’t select anything, it doesn’t help changing the setting from “current layer” to “color label”. I realized that my Krita wasn’t up to date so I updated it today, but it didn’t help with the problem.

I assume that you mean the ‘Contiguous Selection Tool’.
What version were you using? What version have you updated it to and where did you get it from?
Which operating system and version are you using?
While you’re having this problem, please take a screenshot of the entire krita application window with the Layers docker and the Tool Options docker fully visible.

Ok I just noticed while zooming in it does select, but only tiny bits on the edges
That would be version 5.2.0.
Your screenshot shows that the Tool Options docker has the Action set to Intersect.
Do you actually want that or do you want the ‘usual’ Replace action?

This started happening few days ago
Alright sorry for the trouble, It is working now, I dunno how, but it works now
For me, with Intersect, it doesn’t select a simple coloured blob like you had but using Replace does select all the blob except for the antialiased edges, depending on the Threshold value.
