I’m not at all affiliated with Mameo. I just like the brush so i recreated it for krita users.

Note: If you dont like how the first brush feels, try it with tilt turned of in the brush settings

 Hello @GuccioPucci and welcome to the forum!

Are you aware that you only added 4 brush tips to your bundle, but forgot to add the preset files, e.g. the *.kpp-files from the folder paintoppresets, which in combination with the tips are “the brush”?
So, your bundle is currently non-functional.

These look satisfying to use. Always liked using thin pointy pen irl. These seem to simulate that

@Michelist I realise Linux designers historically fostered an informed and capable user base by eschewing hand-holding. But - would there be any willingness today in having some code added to error-trap such a situation and alert the user - even (gasp) offering to find the missing pieces?

i didnt notice thank you for telling me. Ill try and fix it

In case you need help with your bundle, you can ask here in the forum.
If you ask, please tell us which operating system you use and which version of Krita and from where you got your version of Krita.

To create a bundle in Krita from ~ version 5.10 on, it is usually sufficient to ONLY add the Brush-Presets to the bundle, Krita will automatically add the needed Brush-Tips and Patterns in case you also used patterns for your brushes.

Add/Edit: This message was meant for @GuccioPucci, sorry that I had hit the wrong button.

There, I think i fixed it. Please let me know if there are any further problems. Thank you!

You have forgotten to assign the Brush-Tips to the respective Brush-Presets, furthermore they all have the same size of 10 pixels at the moment.
If you tell me which Brush-Preset has which Brush-Tip and maybe masked Brush-Tip and the sizes in pixels that the Brush-Presets should have, then I’ll offer you to try to fix them for you.
I have an environment that makes this usually a lot easier.
I should have everything I need, three Brush-Presets and four Brush-Tips at the moment, or do also belong Patterns to your bundle, if so these were missing in that case.

The curves you have given your settings seem to be existent / okay. I should be able to build them.

All the brushes use ‘A -2 Sparkle 3’ i believe i added the others by mistake. How do you assign the tips to the presets?

If they all use A -2 Sparkle 3, then they use the correct Brush-Tip, I thought each Brush-Preset would make use of its own Brush-Tip, but then they are okay and working, at least if they all should have the initial size of 10 pixels, a setting everyone would adjust anyway the way they like. So, I would say that they now should be okay.

That is how they look like (but I have to admit that I’m unable to control my hand properly):

Thank you again for all your help! much appreciated!

You are welcome.

But I found one little issue I’ve overseen (yes, I can make mistakes too  ), and I’m currently fixing it. The problem is that the Brush-Tips that are added to the bundle are not A -2 Sparkle 3, A -2 Sparkle 3 is a Brush-Tip from Krita itself, and I’m currently making a bundle where I add that Brush-Tip and your Brush-Presets and everything else hopefully too and will send it to you, so you can check it and upload it when you think it is okay.

wouldnt it be fine even without the brush tips in the bundle?

At first, I want to give you the link to the best tutorial-series about brush-making in Krita I know:

There you will find answers to most of the questions one can have making brushes using Krita.

Now to your question:
You assign Brush-Tips to Brush-Presets in Krita’s Brush Editor, that is found via F5 or its toolbar-button in Krita.
You can select an existing Preset or you create a preset from scratch in the Brush Editor, and to that Preset you can assign “Auto”, “Predefined” or “Text” Brush-Tips.
There are two places where you can assign Brush-Tips, the main Brush-Tip is the one in the top row, first you select it, and then you can assign a Brush-Tip from the 3 categories “Auto”, “Predefined” or “Text” on the right side to that Preset, the second Brush-Tip is the “Masked Brush-Tip” in the green rectangle below the red one, also to this Brush-Tip you can assign “Auto”, “Predefined” or “Text” tips.
In the red rectangle, you could assign “Patterns” to your Brush for other effects. Both, the “Masked Brush-Tip” and the “Patterns” you can assign belong to the Painting Mode category.

To create a new Brush-Preset from scratch, you have to select one of the Brush-Engines to use in the light pink rectangle on the bottom left by clicking on the +-sign, the light blue rectangle above can be used to select existing Brush-Presets belonging to one of Krita’s Brush-Engines.

Not really. The problem may be that a user has intentionally disabled or deleted the original Krita resources. The reasons for this can be varied, and they are usually valid if it wasn’t an accident. If you search the forum, you will find plenty of reasons why a user would not want to use them.
And if such a user is using a bundle like yours that relies on resources that are not present in their installation of Krita, the bundle will not work. There are several topics in this forum where users have this exact problem.
You can only save your bundle from such failures if you add all used resources to your bundle. Even though most installations of Krita will have no problems with your bundle, a few will have problems because of this.

If you have further questions, I’ll be happy to answer them, but now I have to sleep. I will check tomorrow if you have further questions. And in case you have much free time, wath the videos from above! ↑

So is the brush bundle fixed or should we wait before downloading?
Also thanks for the brush, nice work.

It is fixed and uploaded to @GuccioPucci’s Google Drive, so, yes, you can download it.
