Manga layout

Guys, I’m going to participate in a tournament where I have the chance to have my manga printed but I don’t know where to find a function in krita that creates pages with these printing guide lines

Krita doesn’t have it by default but you can create one yourself and make it a template to reuse it over and over again.

What you need is in the Comics Manager Docker. It’s a little confusing but it allows you to create pages with measurements like that.

Although I also found a guideline on the internet that has little notches for every millimeter which I found useful for making consistent width for the gutters.
The guideline is on this website: Comic Planning Aids & Art Boards and is called: B4-to-B6 Manga board – B4 paper size.

You download the pdf and then open it with Krita. From what I understand 600 dpi is best but if that causes lag you can just reimport it at 300 dpi.
Then I make a white fill layer underneath to act as the background so that I can just turn off the guidelines layer once I’m finished using it. And of course another layer ontop for drawing.
Then you can turn this into a Template by clicking File and then Create Template From Image.

Ah, yeah! I just made a post about this! I would really like to have this right at the file creation in order to make the process faster instead of loading the file and making it lighter.

@Myschii You can do that with templates.
File → New, select a premade template then that template will be selected for every File → New from that point onwards and will be remembered for the next session.
