After some tries, using a mix of a handmade brush and a super special secret technique, I finally found a way to create “Natural” looking blots, using the brush j) Watercolor Texture, the Multibrush Tool (set to Copy Translate) and the Horizontal Mirror Tool. Made in Krita, easy to set up, no need to create or download a special brush… What could I ask for more?
i saw bug head in all three, and i choose the last one.
i was going to draw an insect head but after a few dab of color, it turn into this silly dancing insect with a firefly bottom. he originally came without a light at his bottom, but i was a little inspired by @jimplex winning creation for the monthly contest. Of course mine was silly , and spontaneous. i was laughing when i saw his little face
Thank you very much! It was a bit head-scratching to find the right way to do them. In the end, it’s like the solution was right in front of my nose. Looks much better than planned too!
I just realized @rosa, @BeARToys, and @MangooSalade used the same inkblot. It’s funny to see three different interpretations of the same picture!
I hope you all had fun What do you think, should the challenge continue next month? If yes, would it be good if the winner of the poll could create the next blots (be it digital or traditional)?
