Mech 30 mins a day

snatched a sketch off of a mech art group on deviant art.
did some inking and a bit of coloring. i plan on doing 30min each day

trying to motivate myself. its the prep work that intimidates me. getting better at inking. i plan on streaming my process and maybe share thoughts on how it goes.

chipping away a little. happy with how much im learning, ive been doing 30 min of krita each day. just not on this piece.
used a bit of warping on to get her hair that way
i’m trying to get a futuristic pattern on her shirt (loving the screen tone brushes). likes its almost made of carbon fiber.
maybe ill try and make an hexagon pattern

i’ll try and revisit hair and use this approach:

I have painted many types of hair. But the key points are basically the same: have some control over the direction of your hair and the transition of light and shadow, and make your images as colorful as possible.
