Meet Isabella

This is Isabella the Pomsky, who works at a coffee shop!

With some advice I’ve been given from friendly users, I provided lore on the character and a color palette with fancy names that I used for the character’s body! (does not include clothing coloring)

Never heard of a desert manager before, but come to think of it they must exist.

Who else would make sure it’s nice and dry? Who else would replace old worn out sand in the dunes? Who else would place skeletons of dead animals in the most decorative spots?

That’s the production designer you have in mind @Bleke

-ahem- Muffins.

Oooh… could it, um… do you mean she’s a dessert manager?

Sorry for the trolling. :upside_down_face:

Oh, you’re fine. I honestly didn’t think you were trolling lol

The “attract attention” caught my eye. Wanting attention and appreciation for what you do is a natural thing. But don’t do a Bob Ross painting just to get attention, it will likely not work. Tons of people are doing Bob Ross style paintings, you’ll be one in the crowd.

You should totally do a BR painting, just to learn from the experience. Do many!

If you really want to attract attention to your art, tell stories with it. I said it a few days ago, but I think I can say it this one time again without being a bore. I hope.

Isabella is your 31:st character and you have only used six of them in stories so far. I’d like to suggest another way to introduce her:

(note: this is just an example of what it could look like)

Imo the character comes to life when it is used in a story rather than just a portrait with some stats. And you pique people’s curiosity about what’s going to happen next, how will she resolve the situation.

Wait a second… did you draw that for me??

This is great @SimonBrother. I love the way you presented her with a bio and the colour palette.

Yeah. It’s been a while since I drew comics, but it is fun.

I wish I had been bolder with the camera angles, but I didn’t want to spend too much time on it.

A lot can be copied from filmmakers:

I really love it, @Bleke

Maybe I can do that for the next character in December.

Will you allow me to put this picture you drew on a fan-arts page on my site? I’ll credit you just in case

Great!

Go right ahead. I’d prefer not to be credited when it’s just a rough sketch like this though.

It’ll be interesting to see what you come up with!

If you do, why not cut away the blue commentary and type something in the empty speech bubble?

I can cut away the blue commentary, but I’m not sure about filling in the speech bubbles. I’m not really a fan of editing other people’s work. It just feels odd.
