Hello @Dale, for now, I moved your topic into our support category for Bundles and resources help, it may be that it will be merged with the original Memileo topic later because it somehow belongs to it.
Please obey in the future the category description postings which describe the dedication of our categories, because the category you had chosen is exclusively for creating topics to share resources like brushes and bundles.
And in the case, that you have a question about a resource you downloaded from there, you can ask your questions about the resource in question in the topic it was originally posted in.
The next thing was your headline, “Memileo”.
Really fine since it says absolutely nothing about your issue, and that where you are asked, by one of our many rules and guidelines, to provide a short descriptive headline which will allow other users to determine by this headline if it may be worth for them to see what you were posting. So, everyone had to check if they can help, or download a new brush or bundle which funnily has the name of resources well known in the community.
Please use descriptive headlines in the future! The administrative team of this forum is very small, and this forum is driven by volunteers who maintain this forum in their spare times. Topics like yours eat up a lot of time that could be better spent to keep the forum the nice and tidy place many users love so much, or enjoy time with the families.
So, you now have two PCs with the Memileo brushes, and you are using Krita 5.2.13, but unfortunately you did not mention which operating systems your PCs are running, nor did you write which of the many Memileo bundles are causing your problem (and I hope they are two identical bundles, because they do not all have the same brushes ). It would also be nice to know what kind of “preset dropdown menu” you are referring to here. The one from the Brush Presets Docker, in the Brush Editor, or are we even in the resource management? Do you mean the one for selecting tags? The blending modes you have selected have no influence on the display of brushes.
Since you say that the brushes were previously displayed on the PC that is now causing problems, but are no longer displayed, several things may have happened:
You deleted 12 brushes.
You deleted the tags of the 12 brushes that are no longer displayed.
Your resource database is corrupt and needs to be recreated.
@Dale: Believe me, I’m sick and tired of all these “instructions.”
But what’s even funnier is that if you had actually read and followed the rules and regulations that you agreed to abide by when you confirmed your registration - most of which are self-evident, especially in groups larger than a school class - then I could have spared us all this.
So, for a perpetual student, you’re not learning independent enough, which is essential.
Because in your reply, instead of mildly ranting, you could have answered the questions that came up above. Which were:
Which operating system do you use?
Which of the Memileo bundles did you import into Krita on your two PCs?
Do you mean the drop-down menu in the Brush Presets Docker? If not, which one do you mean?
I assume you would know if you had deleted brushes or tags, so do other possible roommates have access to the affected PC?
Have you already compared the contents of the resource folders of your two Krita installations? No, right?
But anyway, I suspect it will be the resource database, at least if household members can be ruled out. So you need to open it in Krita via Settings > Manage Resources... > Open Resource Folder, then close Krita so that you can delete the resourcecache.sqlite file, because a database in use is locked from access by other applications. After deleting it, you can restart Krita and it will rebuild the database. Depending on the number of bundles to be imported and other resources you have additionally imported into Krita, this may take longer. Krita may even crash if the data volume is large or your PC is underpowered. If this happens, simply restart Krita and the database will continue to regenerate until it is complete, possibly several times if necessary.
But something doesn’t fit with your “fix”. Because you said, that said PC only showed you one left Memileo brush preset from 13 once back in time, the thing is, the Memileo 360 Light 05.bundle consists out of only two brush presets, namely memileo 360light Knife smooth B Loaded.kpp and memileo 360light Knife smooth B.kpp, so you now should have 3 brush presets in total, since you claimed there was only one preset left on that PC???
