MIDI CC to control Krita

This isn’t MIDI but I recently bought this board from adafruit:

because I had found this post about a DIY keypad and dials controller for krita :

Thats pretty nice. Great work. The knobs are quite handy The number and knobs remind me of my micropad. its Pabile P40 from a local keyboard maker in my country. 12 keys but 4 knobs. This one; [image] [image] Though I did told them that I wish the knobs has something like those in guitar knobs underneath since the board can be seen from the holes.

does use MIDI, so Krita is capable of using it for input/setting values? I don’t know how though.

I use the aruduino keyboard library to send ‘[‘ when the knob rotates left and ‘]’ if it rotates right as key presses***

I’m sharing this because I also thought about just using a MIDI controller like a tourbox but extremely less costly.
