Oh wow, that’s quite unexpected…I honestly considered giving up when I saw all the lovely ideas with less than 2 days left to do something presentable, and though “Kiki with a water gun, how unimaginative to begin with”, and basically only continued because I didn’t want another aborted Kiki project (still didn’t find the motivation to complete the 2022 one).

I didn’t even manage to do the optional part either, while most of you did. I really wanted to have at least some hint of another character in the scene, like a tail end or ear tips.

Now I need to come up with a topic, huh? Let me think about it a bit, last time I ended up not completing the entry for my own topic (tried to finish it a few times, but somehow it doesn’t want to progess in a way I like).

Still thinking about a topic…autumn season is about to start here, I already considered it last time, but thinking about it, the world doesn’t only consist of the northern hemisphere :kiki_sweat_smile:

So maybe instead something more generic I associate with the season. So how about “A breezy day”? Seems we didn’t have something like that yet. I’d leave it up to you how to illustrate that, pure nature, characters, activities like sailing, flying kites etc., warm cold, night or day, as long as it gets across a breezy or windy atmosphere.

I’m unsure about an optional challenge though, I don’t want to pick something that restricts creativity…maybe it’s too vague, but would “add an element that makes the scene a unique moment, something that would’ve been missed seconds later” work? (we’ll all keep this SFW, right? )

That’s great, @Lynx3d. I’ll get the challenge posted tomorrow if I don’t see any further comments from you changing or editing your September challenge.

Seems there are no objections.
I’m just a bit unsure about “breezy” vs. “windy”, seems in weather forecasts breezy means rather gentle wind without any extremes, I was more thinking of a day where a gust can blow your hat off, just not a storm that breaks of limbs of a tree or something like that.

Congrats @Lynx3d and everyone! Everyone had such fun entries this month!

Hmm… It couldn’t be either/or?

Sure, if you have a good idea to show a gentle breeze that’s totally fine, there is no clear distinction between breeze and wind in general it seems.
I was just worried about being too restrictive, and wanted to make clear that as long as it’s not a storm knocking over trees, it’s fine.
